Following a priority set by the SNAP (Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel) the Sheringham Safer Neighbourhood Team arranged for officers to be at the Britons Lane/Hillside Road Junction.
Local residents were in attendance and were given the opportunity to try out the equipment used to measure the speed of passing vehicles.
Residents were able to talk to the officers in attendance and discuss their concerns about the problems with traffic speeding up and down Britons Lane.
We look forward to a report at the next SNAP meeting.
Thanks to all the officers (Ian, Gill and Guy) for the time that they spent in preparation and carrying out the procedure. Another example of ‘pro-active policing’.
